Hot Water Bottle Instructions
For safe and effective use:
- Do not use boiling water when filling the hot water bottle. Allow freshly boiled water to cool before use.
- Hold the bottle upright by the neck and carefully fill it slowly to a maximum of two-thirds capacity.
- Take care to prevent hot water from splashing back while filling.
- Carefully expel excess air from the bottle by lowering it onto a flat surface until water reaches the opening.
- Insert the stopper and screw it sufficiently tight to prevent leakage. Finger-tight should be adequate.
- Check that the bottle and stopper are securely closed before use.
Important Safety Information
- Never fill with boiling water.
- Do not overfill – maximum two-thirds capacity.
- Check the hot water bottle and stopper regularly for signs of wear, deterioration or damage.
- Do not use the bottle if damaged or showing signs of deterioration.
- Do not sit or lie on a filled hot water bottle.
- Keep away from hot surfaces, oil and grease.
